Today at the local circuit city I was purchasing a new tv for the bedroom, VERY COOL :-), and while I was there i was talking to the guy about there viper alarms with remote start. It is 540 out the door installed w/life time warrenty. It taps into the wait to start line and waits until the truck is ready to start. It also has a turbo cool down time, when the truck is turned off it lets the engine run for 5 minutes to cool down the turbo, cool egh!. That will probably be my next inside mod for the truck.

One other thing to consider is the auto trans. Idling in park will kill the trans, sooner or later, unless the trans is modified (shift kit) to circulate fluid in park. Pics in this thread; http://dieselram.com/ubb/ultimatebb....c;f=3;t=003210
The Cummins won't heat up at idle anyway.
