Default Weighed my Ram this AM

Incase anyone is wondering what these weigh.
The truck is a 2007 Quad cab, Dually, long box, RE48 CTD, 4X4 , cab level fiberglass cap, 1/4 tank of fuel and me.

Front 2050 Kilos = 4520 lbs
Rear 1640 Kilos = 3616 lbs

Total 3690 Kilos = 8136 lbs

and a full tank of fuel would push that to around 8300 pounds or more.

I have some aircraft scales that come through the shop on occasion. . .I'll have to put my truck on them and see.

I put mine on a scale at the station I used to fill up at... weighed in at 6980-7000 with a full tank (scale meter was flipping back & forth so I figure it was somewhere in between). had the rims & tires on but I dont think I had the tonneau cover on which is another 100 lbs. this was w/o me in it as I was peeking at the scale...

I didn't scale mine, but I did drive it in my yard(sounds like a holiday inn commercial). It sank down a good five inches and left ruts in the yard. My other vehicles just crush the grass.

My 98 1/2 3500 dually quad cab with me (6'4" and 250lbs or so), tool box (100lbs), 1/2 tank fuel is about 7250lbs. With my 27' 1979 Layton 5er is about 13,500lbs.

So add another 400lbs if you were in it??? I'm just glad our jacks at work can pick my truck up. Ran into some problems the other day trying to pick up a truck to put brakes on, 15ton jack wouldn't do it. Had to double them up (that's just one axle)
