Default Leaking Tranny Seals

Has anyone changed their PTO front main seal and Tranny rear main seal and had any luck with it? Mine were leaking at 80k miles and I changed them with Chrysler seals from the dealer. Now I have 162k and they are leaking again. Is this something I just need to look forward to every 80k miles? Is there a better seal to use?

Sorry, I meant Transfer Case, not PTO. The leaking seals are between the Tranny and Transfer Case.

..I just changed mine about 4 weeks ago..The Dodge oem rear transfer case seal was Great !! The front transfer case seal was redesigned, and did not have the metal flange on it..so I went to NAPA and the rear napa seal was missing the "Boot" on the seal, and the front had a super nice "flange", like the original one I took out..so NAPA for the front and Dodge for the rear..lol..hey if you need a "Yoke Holder" for the flange nut in the front transfer seal, you can make for for about $6.00. I bought a 30 inch 1"inch sq steel pipe & cut off about 10" on the end.I layed the short pipe on top of the longer remaining sq pipe, and thendrilled two holes in eachsq pipe. This allows you to place the short pipe above the yoke, and place two 5" bolts through each pipe. The long end would brace against the floor or frame of the truck. It worked great for atight rusty nut..lol need photo email let me know..good luck
