Default Almost THERE!!!

I dont know if any of yall remember, but about a month or two ago. I posted up athread saying "Newbie Needs Help" with how much a cummins would cost and what I was looking for. So here is the good news Im in the process of closing on my 06 2500Dodge Cummins MegaCab4x46speed, with Leather Interior, Heated/Cooled Seats, Navi, DVD System, with Moonroof. Im really excited about getting it, the only thing is I have to go to Michigan to pick the truck upand Im in San Antonio, Texas. I have found, that this exact truck hard to find and even in automatic it cost at least $38k used and mine is used with 20k miles for $35k w/TTL so everything said and done.

I was going to get it shipped but i was quoted $1500 to ship the truck over here. I figured to purchase a one way ticket cost $300 and the drive home and eat/diesel would be $500 big savings there. So does anyone know of a company that ships for cheap.

Thanks,
Rudy

Hey congrat's on the truck. I live in Austin (just north of San Antonio for you non-Texans). Sounds like your in for a nice Road Trip. Where did you find your truck (Autotrader?) Did you check with BlueBonnet Dodge in New Braunfels, I bought my 2006 QC 4x4 there last month and got a great deal ($11K off sticker)

I was online last night and submitted several quotes to auto shipping companies and found that there are alot of companies out there that would like to have my business. The only thing is if they are a reliable source. I found one company that will ship the truck for $875 from Southern Michigan to San Antonio Texas. I believe that is a hella of a deal but again are they reliable.

Is there anyone on this board whom have dealt with an auto shipper? If so how was your expierence and what do I look for?

Thanks in advance,
Rudy
