Default Winter Blend question...

OK, i'm on a trip up to Oregon & have noticed more rattle out of the motor and less power... is this a sign of the winter blend fuels? I also notice it when I get fuel from Chevron... mileage seems to be in the 16's to low 17's which is what i'd expect with the type of driving we're doing up here... any thoughts?

I've noticed a little more "rattle" too, but I also added the Rokktech sensor about 1k ago.

I've noticed my mileage has dropped off some and the truck seems to be louder. I chalked it up to the fact they are using the winter blend fuel up here in OR. I also always go to the 76 station here where I live.

cool, thanks for the replies... I'm thinking it is the fuel. At some point while i'm up here I plan to get some biodiesel to run on the way home since it's not easy to find in the Sacramento area (cant find it actually). It does seem to be acting abnormal... the power all day Saturday was off and today it was much better same fuel from the same tank...

If you're around Eugene, OR. I-5 south at like exit 190 which is the lane community college exit there's a new gas station there that sells bio. problem is its like 3.29 a gallon while diesel in creswell 5 miles south is running 2.87 a gallon. hard for me to want to buy bio when it's over 40 cents a gallon more. but if you're after it and around eugene that would be the area to find it.
