Default 2001 Dodge Cummins

This thing takes forever to start and the fule mileage sucks.

New battweries, starter, both pumps.
It has a K&N air filter.
It will start if WD40 is sprayed into the intake.

I hate to say it but, hard starting and poor mileage is a symptom of the VP44 getting ready to die. Have you replaced the lift pump recently or had any problems with fuel starvation such as a clogged fuel filter?
