Default Blue Crud

I changed my fuel filter this weekend (first one) at 5K miles. Mostly I just wanted to change it so I could go through the motions. Not a big deal at all. Heck I even had a 1 and 1/8's socket.

After changing the fuel filter I check out the fuel that drain out. I saw a bunch of minute, blue particles floating around in the fuel. The fuel itself had no water I could see and was a nice honey color (no I did not try to spread it on toast). The particles were blue (like gasket blue). Just wondering if this is a breakin thing?

Default RE: Blue Crud

thats what the filter is for... any gunk that gets into the filter assembly stops @ the filter. I wouldnt worry about it, it's probably sealant of some sort that made it's way to the filter...
