i was wondering if anyone had an opinion on wether my truck would run better with an hx50 turbo... i dont want to lose to much low end. or should i go with a hx 40 or a peirs hx35 any opinions would be appreciated thank you.

that 50 would be WAY laggy, the 40 would also be a bit laggy for your 12 valve. the piers35 would be a good one, or you could look at the superB or the industrial injection 62

wut is the difference between the hx35 and the piers 35? i want lots of boost but with little lag and i dont want twins... my dads truck is a 2000 cummins with an hx40 and it doesnt have much lag at all but im guess thats the fact hes making 405 hp and 1103 ft lbs of torque.... but i do lik ethe hx 40 hes making 37 lbs of boost and that seems likea good amount... well thank you for your help.

banks was workin on a trubo that had adjustin fins to prevent lag. the outcome was almost no lag at all..not sure if its for sale but i saw it on a tv program.. looked cool.

I have PDR's HX40. It F'n screams. I have it gated at 26 lbs. I run 417 rear wheel hp with it. I could get more but I am at the limit for my lift pump.

Personally, I think you'd be happy in the 40 series. Just enough to answer the call......lol.
