Here is an Excel sheet that will help you figure out the gearing you need to install regain lost performance from a tire size change.

It's also set up to show you the effect that those new 52" Michelins you just slapped on have on the effective gearing of your current setup.

Just punch in the appropriate numbers for your truckand it'll do the rest.

Don't worry about screwing it up, I locked it, so only the numbers that you need to input are acessible. It does the math for you.
