I havent added any 2 stroke with the stanadyne yet.

8 ounces of stanadyne per 30 gallons. The case I have is 16 ounce bottles. At 5.50-6.00 a piece.
ech bottle does two full tanks

 

Doesn't sound like a whole lot of "additive" if your only adding 8ozs per tank.

 

its not. I almost said screw it and dumped the whole thing in there. lol

But that wouldnt do any veriffication for test purposes.

I think I will notice a little more when I add 8 ounces of 2 stroke oil

I got the 64 oz bottles which is a little cheaper.

I got 3 bottles for $67.36 Shipped.

That will do 750 gallons.

I recently bought my first Diesel, 2007 Quad and was reading on here about all the different Brews you guys use. Interesting but my dealer recommended This Stanadyne stuff so I got some before I found this site.

This was the cheapest place I could find so I thought I would pass it along.

Just started using it and my truck only has 880 miles so not sure how it is working.

 

I have heard really good things about Stanadyne, the only issue that I have run into is this. I have had a few service guys tell me that the newer 5.9's should not have any additives im the fuel. only from i think 03 and back. Is this even remotly true or are they full of it. If I am ok running it in my 07 5.9 I would be interested in some as well.

 

I don't use any adatives, is my truck going to blow up?

Yeah, I kida gave up on additives for a while myself now. After reading that article in TDR magazine I've kinda been a little gun shy about adding ANYTHING to my fuel.
