Triton - what made you switch to the AFE?

I am planning on picking a S&B up in the near future, I just can't bring myself to sepend the extra cash. Crazy, how does the lowend feel? Feel the turbo spool up any differently?

The price I got it at for one, the guys at Moe's are top notch with customer service, the really loud turbo whine it has !! and ......

I think the AFE did help the spool up quicker than the S&B. It definitely moves more air. I'm slowly heading towards some high HP's and I don't feel the S&B moves as much air as I could use. The S&B is a very nice setup but, really isn't much different than the stock filter housing as far as how much air can get in. It's cut out is just a little bigger which I don't think does it's large filter justice.

You know, really the stock filter and housing are claimed to be rated up to 500hp's so unless you plan to go over that apparently there's no really need to change to a CAI. We all have it in us to BOMB our trucks in one way or another though so, what the hell.... pick a CAI you like and go with it ;-)
