I agree Triton, I hate the smile faces too, the only thing left to do to the exterior are the stacks and the tire carrier which should be done this week...the stacks on the other hand Iam getting alot of mixed feelings about.
DEFINATELY do the stacks !!

What the heck is a tire carrier ??

Your going to mount your spare in the bed of your truck ??

Isn't that gonna take up too much room?

I think the decision on stacks needs to be made before you install that tire carrier. It's gonna determine where the carrier goes !

Maybe instead of the carrier.... if you get stacks, you'll need a diamond plate cover for the plumbing in the bed. maybe you can or have someone fab up something for the tire that is an extention of the plumbing cover. Or, could I just be...[sm=alcoholic.gif]:-)

A tire carrier shouldn't bother those stacks one bit, as long as you measure your stuff out first.

I had my tire carrier, with a 36" TSL, in the bed and still had my truck box back there.

It would be a good idea to get the dimensions of the stack kit and any other hardware for it, bit I don't think they will interfere with eah other.

Hey just a note on the tire carrier.

If you weren't already thinking about it, put the bolts in from the bottom side of the bed and use wing nuts on the top.

Makes it much easier if you need to actually use the bed.
