fuel gauge question

Default fuel gauge question

My 1997 ctd had a new fuel sensor installed last year ,the gauge is starting to fluctuate is this normal or electrical in nature?
any help is as usual greatly received,thanks Mason.

Default Hello, i have a question,can you help?

Hello there Long time since my last visit, however i just had a new lift pump installed ou my 97 12 valve ctd,along with a cold start selenoid,since it got out of the shop the temp. gauge reads hot 220-230
under no load what do you guys think? I'm baffled, any help is greatly appreciated!

For your fuel pressure problem, installaing a snubber apparently takes care of the problem.

Here ya go ... SNUBBER

Why installing a lift pump made your water temps shoot up that high is beyond me.

Are you talking about fuel pressure or fuel level? Oh yeah, I put a snubber on and it still fluctuates at idle.
