2006 Upgrade Questions
I have a 06 3500 CTD Megacab that I use for towing and general driving. Looking to upgrade the power a little. couple of questions:
1.) Will a Cold Air intake system, ATS Arc Flow, and performance muffler void the warranty ?
2.)Since I am not looking to increase engine/turbo noise greatly. Is the AFE II going to be too loud compared to others like S&B ?
3.) Should I remove the CAT ?
4.) What are some good exhaust systems that are not too noisy ?

2) the afe stage II kit (the one w/o the progaurd filter... cheeper one) will keep noise levels in check.
3) I wouldnt recommend it... it could hurt your low end power for towing.
4) i would recommend the aero turbine 4040 to replace your stock muffler... straight thru design that wont hurt low end (IMO).

Thanks for your input. I thought the ProGuard was the way to go with the AFE II ? How will the cheaper filter keep noise down verses the ProGuard ?. Anyone have any other feedback on other intakes like the S&B, GREEN, Airraid, or the new BANKS system ?
