Well guy's I think I'm gonna trade my truck in for 02 reg cab cummins .
It's selling at a dealer for 22000 for 44000 w/miles and they offered 6000 for mine.
It's pretty much the exact thing that I got now execpt it has a real motor.
I didkbb and the prices ain't bad.
Is there any probs on the 02 models?
What is the torque and horse power on these puppy's.

 

Don't do two deals at one dealer. Clean and detail your current truck and take it to another Dodge dealer. See if they will give you wholesale price otherwise they will steal your 6000 tradein and flip it for an extra 2 or 3 grand to another car buyer or failing that they'll wholesale it themselves to another dealer looking for one of those. After you've got the cash for that one in your hands then go down and talk to them about the cummins truck. 22K for a used truck seems like a lot to me. I bet you can get them a lot lower than that. Diesel isnt cheap and diesel p/us arent exactly flying out the doors. Take your time and do the deal right so you dont get screwed. One deal at a time with seperate dealers is how you get the best bang for your buck and there is no confusion or murkiness for them to rip you off.

Well I talked to the dealer and got a grand off .
I understand what yall are saying about trading in versus selling out right
but the problem is I have a plow on mine and nobody wants to buy a used plow truck because they
think u ragged it out. I must say I wasn't the easiest on my truck ,but I never got too careless.
I have already tooken off the plow and toolbox just gotta get my tires and headache rack off.

That's right, no one really cares how much you paid for it after a week anyway.
