Default Fuel Filter Change running PS & 2 Stroke

Well, changed out the fuel filter today. Took a grand total of 15 minutes. Only took that long because I had to cut a section of PVC to extend the drain tube. This is at 10K miles. Most of this has been running PS & MMO, this last tank has been on PS & 2 stroke marine oil. Not a drop of water at all.

After changing, the truck didn't hicup at all. No stumbling, no rough idle, nothing. I just keyed the ignition twice, bumped the starter twice and then fired it up. Ran it for about 5 minutes to make sure all the air was out and no leaks.

Here's the pics of the filters and fuel. This fuel is with the PS & 2 stroke mix:

Why does the fuel look like gatorade ??

Great idea with the pvc as a drain extension. I'll hafta remember that.

That's the normal color......

Drain your filter and it'll look exactly the same.

I used 3/4" ID PVC. It was juuuuuuuust a bit too big. 5/8" would probably fit the tube nice and snugly.

NOTE: Do not put diesel fuel filters in Ziploc bags.....it eats through within a few minutes.

I see bottles of that stuff in ditches along the sides of highways a lot. I bet a person could pick up a bunch of those, dump em in the tank, and have lots of free fuel [sm=joke.gif] [sm=smiley36.gif]

I'd hate to be the person that decides to drink it instead..........

Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm!

Actually I'm saving that......I'm gonna keep it my Focus so I can smell it when I'm wishing that it had enough cojones to get up the next hill.
