if he has the auto and 3.73's he will walk away since he has more top end than you. the G56 with 3.73's is a poor decision on DC's part. the G65 is geared to high. 3.54's would be better for the G56 however AAM doesnt make those gears.
even if you had the auto, speed wise you would be able to do the same speed, but he would still walk away from you since he's got the chip.

Its all gear ratio man, My 2000 CTD had 3:54 gears and would top out at 115mph!! my 04 CTD has 4:10 gears and 100mph is all shes got. The big difference is the 04 will out pull the 2000. You got to remember were not at a NASCAR race. Although it would be kewl to run 175mph!! in a CTD. Man, that WOULD burn the Ford guys up!

Ive probably got enough juice with the TST for 200. . . .I would just need an over drive set and something like a 2.9 running gear. but that would be cool watching a 3/4 ton truck rolling around 285 doing 175 rolling on 35's. . .would deffinately give the crotch rockets a run for their money
