Do you want him to bring you some Ice icicles[sm=imsorry.gif] as that is what he may turn in to if he does not take some extra warm cloths with him. Well he could stay inside the whole time and be bored to death.

If he wantes to go outside he could join the locals and tip a few [sm=icon_cheers.gif][sm=alcoholic.gif]to help turn his blood in to anti freeze to help ward off the cold -10 below zero temps (not counting wind chill) that he may encounter while in Iowa.

 

He can do a little ice fishing.

 

No internet = Australian bush territory if you ask me

 

Mayfair we are not in the stone age here in IA we do have internet access here in IA, I know as I live here. It could be that that the place he is staying at will not be set up for him to have access to the internet.
