It Will Run With...?
i know we (i say we, i dont have a truck) put all kinds of stuff besides Diesel in our trucks and the gas guys dont put hardly anything, so i wanted to start a list of things that a diesel engine will run on with little or no modifications and things that we use as fuel additives:
Fuel:
Diesel
BioDiesel (amount varies)
Fuel Additives:
PSD
MMO2-Stroke oil
I have heard of people putting small ammounts of Motor oil and transmission oil, has anyone else heard/tried this? will it hurt the engine?

Putting transmission fluid in your fuel is a big No No as it will screw up your injectors. Also many, including my self are starting to use 16 to 32 oz of 2 cycle oil in the fuel to help lube the fuel system.
Kerosene is diesel without the lube. Say good bye to your injectors. It will also run off ether if you don't care about your cylinders. Also you can run on engine oil, the old 2 stroke used to pull oil out of the pan up through the seals and suck the sump dry and the engine would run away.
100% veggie oil will require modifications. It is thicker so you will need to add a heftier lift pump. It also gels at a much higher temp. That means if you run veggie oil in there while it's hot, it will run great. Stop the engine and let it cool down and your fuel lines, pump, filter and injectors will clog.
Most people that run veggie oil or WVO have 2 tanks. They start out on diesel, then switch to the veggie tank. then when they get a few miles from where they are going, they switch back to diesel so the veggie oil is cleared out of the fuel system. FASS makes a special pump just for veggie oil.
Bio diesel is thicker too. The higher the amount of bio you run, the more likely you are to need a better lift pump. A FASS will handle B100 just fine.
You will also go through filters much quicker running bio diesel when you first start out. It acts like a solvent and cleans all of the crud out of your tank and fuel lines. Once the crud is gone, you won't use near as many filters.

Hey what if you run a blend of virgin/wvo lets say 20 gals pump fuel 10 gals vo would you still need any extra equipment I have a friend that owns a food joint (texmex) he says I can get the wvo from him just wondering on how to use it I have not tried any thing yet looking for others that have to find out there +/- and blend ratios.

What is your intent with running the WVO, bio, etc?
Reason I ask is this...are you doing it to try to save money at the pump or are you doing as the enviro friendly thing?
Here my thing. If you want to convert WVO in fuel, you're looking at around $3K worth of equipment to do it correctly and on a scale that you can actually use. Plus all the additives and crap you have to buy to maintain the operation. $3K can buy a lot of fuel, so the money part is pretty much a wash.
Now, if you are thinking about the enviro thing. Yeah, great, that's cool, but with the ULSD and the new clean diesel crap, these things put out as much emissions as a damn camp fire.
Just my .02
Like I said I have an almost unlimited supply and before I accept it I would just like to know if you could use a blend or just run straight and if anyone has tried mixing amounts of pump fuel and wvo.
