I know a couple of guys here (Sharx and Triton) have scoop hoods on their CTDs. I am looking at getting one as well when I get the BuckStop bumpers installed. I found one made out of fiberglass that is compatable with a Ram Air box.

Knowing how fiberglass goes, I think your better off buying one from Ram Air, it would be metal and painted to match and considering you have an 06...I think youd want the best product you could put on it. It would suck to order that one and when it got there realise youve got a couple hundred dollars worth of fibergalss work to be done to make it look the way you want it. Just my opinion Sluggo, but Id put a metal one on it. and Ram Air makes the same styles as that one, the price seems abit to low if you ask me.

 

Yah I am kind of leary of fiberglass as well. Was just looking for a different hood scoop than the SRT10. Guess will have to keep looking.

I agree with Sharx .. go with the steel hood

 

wat about a carbon fiber one? those are strong...lighter and um...look really nice... like on a grey, red, black trucks.
