Default Wait to start light

It was cold enough for the WTS light to stay on, but it didn't and the grid heater wasn't cycling, needless to say the engine was rough till it warmed.

So what should I'll be checking or do I take it across the street to the dealer for warranty work

You're in FL right?

I wouldn't sweat it too much. It's just rough because the combustion temp is low. The WTS light is suppossed to come on at 65* or less, but there have been times at 40* that is hasn't come on. No big deal.

Obviously, you can take it in, but it's prbably not an issue.

If you are really worried about it, just get a heater cord and if it's gonna be "chilly", just plug it in. I have yet to have a wait light when the truc khas been plugged in.

The truck is just looking at your coolant and air temp sensors. If either of those is warm, then it won't give you a wait light.

Thanks Cumminalong, It started real ruff Saturday but I missed the WTS, so maybe I was right at the edge of the temp, I watch it and if we dip down to the forty's again and it doesn't come on I throw the bike in the back of the truck and make the 1/4 trip to the dealer.

To think people been trying to get me to move for years and then two years ago they put a Dodge dealer right across the road, sweet
