Default changed the fuel filter

Okay,, so I have been noticing over the past month that the truck is running a little sluggish and the mileage has gone down a bit. I kinda thought I was getting some bad fuel at first. Then it dawned on me,,,, duhhhhh [:@], the stock fuel filter only had like 15.5 k miles on it. So I went to the local parts store and bought a new one,, they didnt carry Fleetguard, all they had was a Purolator. Anyways, I followed Drews helpful little how to post, and within 10 min. it was done. Let the pump run three times and it cranked right up wihtout even the slightest sputter. The truck runs like brand new again. I even filled up and added the old brew (20 and 12).

I had the same experience when I 1st got my truck. Dealer mentioned that it needed nothing all service had been done... right! swapped the filter at 18k as it was really dragging and bam, it was good as new. since then i've been on a 10k schedule...

glad to hear its right again...

you're right,, it kinda felt like when I was without my BD for a couple weeks. When I got it back I swore it worked better than before.

After getting back from Elko, NV, I think I am going to change my Fuel and Air Filter as well. Nothing but silt and dust out there where my Aunt lives. Also, my 2500 really stinks in the silty mud. Even with the wider tires, the front end sinks like the titanic in deep mud. Lucklily never got stuck.
