Default BioDiesel plunge!

Took the plunge this morning and filled my vehicle with B99.9(according to the label on the pump). Almost 30 gallons worth ($3.25 a gallon!!)
From what I understand, it's the only Bio station in Los Angeles County!(it's in Marina Del Rey)
Anyway, drove for 5 minutes from the staion to the job site and noticed the diesel fume smell already gone. The new smell seemed to be like Chinesestir fry.
I'd swear that the motor idles just a bit smoother and quieter. Power seems to be less as well. We'll se how mileage is next fill-up.

Anyone care to share their experience with Bio?
By the way, I do not recall any posts complaining about BioDiesel related experience. Anyone care to chime in here.
Yes, many are aware of the lack of long termtest dataand a solid standard for the manufacture of BioDiesel. I am interested in people who have direct knowledge or experience using or making their own.
Thanks in advance for your experiences!
Yes, I plan on changing the fuel filter after the first tank.(i'm actually carrying one around just in case it clogs up with newly loosened stuff)
Cheers

that was my only comment. . .everyone I have heard of running straight Bio has had very few issues, and the fuel filter has been the biggie.

Next time fill with 75% bio and 25% petrol. The biodiesel acts as almost too much of a lube, so it depreciates power. Play around with the mixtures and see what works best.

B20 runs great in mine. It also ran good in my last truck. I never had a fuel filter issue.

Got 18.1 mpg running about 600 miles on the B100. Pretty good considering alot of street miles on this tank. Changed the fuel filter out as well. It wasn't too dirty considering 4,000 miles and the BioDiesel. Just blackened at the tips of the pleats. Plenty of life left in the filter IMHO. Filled up again with B100 today(32 gallons). Second tank......here we go! Power is definitely down some. Running quieter all the time....just barely.
