It looks like you left Iowa a bit too soon as we are going to have a late winter storm here by tonight. The only bad part of it is that it may leave up to ½ inch of ice and many of the young ones don’t know how to drive on it.

Other then the ice the places that don’t get ice will receive up to 16 inches of snow by Sunday night. If we get hit head on and we get all of the snow they say we could get that sure make the snowmobiles riders real happy and also help late season sales.

Now they say our next storm should be here by next Thursday that is unless we can find a way to make it change course and head for either you or Mayfair [sm=icon_stickpoke.gif][sm=icon_guiness.gif][sm=lildevil.gif]

 

Screw that dude ... it's 40 degrees over here.

Thanks it just started here about 15 minutes ago then it changed to ice pellets about 5 minutes ago [&:] I'm gald I made the wife leave work early as it hit just after she got home

I tried to be nice and share it with Drew and Mayfair but they declined and I don't know why

 

Early yesterday evening I went to use the video camera as I wanted to get a clip of our Thunder Ice for Drew & Mayfair but the dam thing was broke[:@] My Original intent was to film Thunder Snow that was forcast but it didn't show up[X(] We are still don't have any snow but we do have a lot of freezing rain ( about 1/2 inch of ice pellets under the ice) at this time but they still call for up to12 inches of snow by Monday morning here and up to 24 inches in parts of MN from this storm and maybe some more snow on Wednesday.

 

I seen thunder during an ice storm before. . .that was definately wicked. . .and no it wasnt the pine trees breaking due to frozen sap
