Default 3/4 or 1 ton

Is there any difference on maintenance or mpg between the 3/4and 1 ton?

Only difference between the two is the 1 ton has the overload springs in the back and stiffer front springs. Otherwise they are identical.

They are also a bit heavier from the extra parts like springs, extra tires and rims, rear fenders, etc.etc. etc.

If it's a DRW then there are several different parts. But the SRW's are only different in the springs.

a lot of the 3/4t's have the 1 ton or 1 1/4 ton rear ends that match the 1 tons. add some springs and its a 1ton for all practical purposes.

besides. the CTD 3/4t is a "heavy" 3/4 vs a gas 3/4.
