Default Low sulfur diesel

A buddy of mine (who owns aFord ... poor guy!)heard that the new low sulfur diesel will eat up the o-rings in a Dodge unless you use a diesel additive. Has anyone else heard this rumor? Is the diesel additive worth using and are there any preferred additives out there for Dodges?

Thanks.

Jeff

Default RE: Low sulfur diesel

the frd guy is full of it the only trucks that will have a problam are th older 80s trucks with the natural rubber o rings
thereasons to use an additive it that they took out all the lubrication propertys by trying t make it "run cleanar" so it lubricates the fuel pumps

Removing the sulfer from fuel will not make It eat the o-rings.
We already know your buddy is not too smart. ( He drives a Ford )
