Should I spend money for a whole new tranny or spend half for a T/Q, Deep Pan& V/B? I only tow a ski boat in the summertime. Suncoast is the closes dealer near me. Thanks.

 

Myself, I'm going with T/Q, V/B and deeper pan as I'm not really pushing a whole lot of bigHP. If your going upwards of 600 to800+ HP I'd then go for a "race" built tranny say from NADP or ATS or others. the T/Q, V/B and pan are gonna run half the price of a built tranny in the least.

I am only running an exrtra 126 hp & 250 tq on the top setting speed loader. I don't use the speed loader level ( Level 5 & 6 normal driving and level 3 and under for towing). So level six it's 100 hp & 200 tq. I don't plan on anymore mods to my truck.

BTW- My transmission is working fine so far.

I have the speed loader as well, and have been advised to take the Banks billet T/C and take stronger flex plate too. A deeper pan is probably great, can't do any harm to have better cooling.[sm=confused06.gif]
