welcome to df...

pull off your intake tube off the turbo and use a screwdriver to pry the ring out. should only take about 5 minutes or so start to finish...

Welcome aboard bro !!

At this point, it sounds like doing ANYTHING will jam you up come warranty time. The ring is an easy removal / install, but you can't hide the pipe. If you're concerned about your warranty, I wouldn't do it.

When I had my truck go in for a ECM it had no muffler, ring and a K&N. Nothing was ever said. Plus I do not think they would look unless you went in with a turbo problem.

Same here,, they didn't say a thing about the k&n on mine or the muffler. The only thing is though,,, if there is a question of wether or not u have a programmer,, having the other mods definately doesn't add any brownie points,,, if anything, it adds a little sand to ur underwear if u know what I mean.
