Yeah .. I've gotta add changing my radiator fluid to my list of things to do. I'm scared to even think of what it looks like under that cap. [:'(]

I can honestly say Ive never changed mine in my CTDs with over 300,000 combined on the 2 Ive owned. It always looked to good to change. Antifreeze is not as toxic these days as it used to be. It doesnt even work on stray cats anymoreDont ask me how I know. Nothing like going outside in the morning and seeinga couple dozen strays laying on the hood of the CTD[:@]My road is the dump for all unwanted animals. Although my 11year old son has become quite a shot.

NO!!!!!!

just cause it is green doesnt mean it is good. . .best bet would be to toss $1-2 on the counter for one of them coolant testers with the 5 different float *****. I need to get one. . .dropped it and glass doesnt like long falls with an abrupt stop[:@]

decelleration trauma got mine too! [:@]
But if you don't want to check it or fool with it, just go ahead and change the fluid it IS cheap and beats a cooling system problem in the future.

Truth of it is,most of us trade up before the coolant goes bad anyway. Most of us start gettin the fever as soon as theres a new body style or a HOTTER engine. Im looking to trade my 04 as soon as the bugs are out of the 6.7. By then I otta have 200,000 on the clicker.
