How are they wired so that they know when to go up and down ?

Are they hydrolic powered? If they are electric then they shouldnt have a problem, should they? Do the cars that come from the factory with power running boards, like the tahoes and yukons, have similar problems?

Does anyone have an extra rim and cap or have any idea as to where I can get one?
Sorry about your truck.

I would look on ebay for the rim/cap. The brushed finish aluminum wheels are harder to find. You may have to buy four then sell the extras individually. I did find a correct wheel cap.

Well ... I've got Allstate. They SAY they allow 1 accident before your rates go up. We'll see ...

Thanks saber, and thanks for the links. I've gotta guy who works in a yard looking for me. he thinks he found a rim and a cap for $125.00
