Default Warranty Issues

Hey yall I had a few questions. I pick up my 07 RAM 5.9 CTD QC on monday or so. Someone told me not to straight pipe it until 10,000 miles that way it could break in first. Is this true? Also someone has told me not to do it until after waranty is up because it would void it? I sure hope not. Thanks yall.

Default RE: Warranty Issues

the only thing it will void is the warranty on the exhaust system. . .however since you have a 5.9L you wont have that particulate filter or any other smog crap. . .so go ahead and drop the stock muffler and straight pipe it, wont hurt a thing.
