Another Chicp Question
Need some helpfrom themore knowledgeable on making a desision.
What I have is
06 QC 4x4
Aero 4040XL installed
315 tires
Auto Trans
What I am wanting is little more boost in power/and MPGand a set of gauges.
I am looking at the Edge EZ but then I am also looking at the Edge Juice with Attitude.
From what I have read the Auto Trans cannot handle the juice on full power setting but I really like the setup with the Attitude
Help me make the decision. That damn Auto trans the wife had to have is killing me.(was the only way she would let me get the new truck)

Get the Juice and Attitude, you'll be fine.
You'll kick yourself and still have to buy a set of gauges if you get the EZ. You know you want the gauges!
As long as you can control yourself and aren't trying to tow on level 3 or higher, you'll be fine.
I drive day to day on 1....in traffic I'll play on 3......if I'm on the highway and feeling froggy, I'll play on 4. On 5 I know I'd be pushing my luck, so I don't.
Look at it this way, get the Juice and Attitude and later down the road, you can upgrade the TC and the valve body and use the power that you still have on tap. Then unlock the hot code and let 'er roll.
Get the Juice and Attitude, you'll like it.
Here's a teaser for ya:

Nothing wrong with a auto trans :-) You're right though about fuel boxes or downloaders being ruff on them. But, the same goes for a standard trans also. They can just handle a little more HP.
I don't have an Edge but, I read a lot about them and have seen many others that use it. IIRC, you're locked into only 3 performance setting with the Edge. Other boxes like the Smarty gives you a ton more options for towing and/or hot rodding.
The attitude seems pretty nice too but, the analogs are even cooler IMO. Good luck with your decision

Plus, it's adjustable on the fly....it doesn't replace the stock program....can be removed in less than an hour (minus the EGT probe, if you put it pre-turbo).....has the safeties for tranny slip, engine and tranny temp, boost pressure, EGT limiter, etc.
Very safe box for the folks that want a little more power and mileage and don't want to melt the tires off or scorch a turbo.
As for the gauges, that all personal preference. I like having the number right there.
my bad, you're correct. I was thinking of the bully-dog which I've seen good things written about. I'd say most available are pretty good choices. It all depends on if you want a monitor or gauges. The TST would be a good choice also if a monitor is preferred.
