Default wire harness

anybody else have a faulty wire harness connection for the starter relay?

my 93 ctd had a dang melt down that would not allow the engine to turn. it also lit the whole dash up like a huge short!!!

had to cut the wire harness connector from the starter relay circuitry and splice through it.

Default RE: wire harness

Ive heard this before, and seen it once. . .the 98-00 second gens seem to have an issue with the main ground going to the body and it corroding enough to cause the tranny to shift irregularly. the one time I saw anything like this was the grounding wire for the starter had corroded just enough to where you could hear the gear going forward, but the starter wasnt turning. replaced the cable and all was good.
