Default Upgrade Questions

So i was reading diesel power magazine today and saw an advertisement for RPMOUTLET.com and so i went and checked it out. They are selling A-pillar gauges pods with autometer gauges for $229. Thats a pretty killer deal right?

I have also been looking for intake and the S&B one has caught my eye. Anyone heard anything about this one?

$229 for gauges seems likea pretty good price. In the little I have been checking, that seems to be about the best price. I know www.dieselmanor.com also sells them for around that price...I think.

I know a few guys around here (Triton for awhile and Sharx) run the S&B intake. When I get one, it will be the S&B. I just can't bring myselft to spend the extra $200 or so on the AFE Stage 2 intake. I have heard good things about them.

Check out Geno's Garage too. They sell a ton of gauges aimed at our trucks. I got an SRT10 pillar mount for a single gauge that fits likea glove. Also, Geno's throws in the needed taps and crap for certain gauges to make the install a breeze. E.g I purchased an Autometer Boost gauge and they threw in an RLT boost adapter so I could tap for boost with a bolt out of the intake manifold.

Just remember with gauges, you get what you pay for.
