It was incredible down there.!!
It was like 70 to 79 degrees all weekend and sunny.
The women were badazz all u needed was some beeds or bear and u got a show,and the car's were sweet.
U would not believe the sound of those engine's echoing off the wall's in the track.
Fueled by beer and crown I was loving every minute of it.
We got down there about 9pm thurs .
The first thing we did was start drinking.
We then found the state's most famous strip club The Mouse's Ear.
That place was off the hook. The girls there were like[sm=yikesomg.gif]OMG!!!
The drivers actually go to this bar .
The whole trip was great we camped out in a buddies 30ft camper.
In some old guy's back yard he charged us a 100 bucks and hooked us up w/ water and electric.
We walked 1/2 mile to the track each way there and back. All up hill.
I tell u what those walk's damm near killed my fat chain smoking ***.
The race's were awesome we had ticket's in the D. E section on turn 2.
We were about a 100 feet under the suites.
It was great we were in the shade all day and u could see the whole track.
If u watched the Cup race u seen the same thiing I saw those new car's kinda suck right now.
I was listening on my scanner at the race and it seemed like none of the driver's really cared for the new car.
But they'll just have to get use'd to it .
The Busch race was really good though lot's of action and the scanner was lit up w/ chatter the whole time.
We got back at 2pm today . I just finished un packing and getting my chores done .
The whole weekend cost about 700.00.
But I'm tellin ya it was worth it.
Now I just gotta save more money back for tire's for my truck
Oh yeah I averaged 19.5 mph most of the way.

 

i just got back today, monday. it was my first time down there. i went with a group of people from school for a school field trip. i only wnet tot he bushe race though. the girls were amazing. it was a fun week i also wen to the cummins plant. that was incredable

 

Sounds like an awesome time. I just got my tickets to the Texas race in April. Those cars are f***ing loud even at a wide open track like Texas. I can't image what's is like in that little echo chamber. I would love a chance to go to find out tho.

Unfortuantely I was only able to catch about the first 60 or so laps before i had to roll out to a party. Stweart was leading by a MILE when I left and thought for SURE he was gonna wrap this one up.

Who wrecked? I haven't checked up on it yet.

It was a good and long lasting experience.
I think I might go down for the fall race in August
It will be my last vacation days for the year ,but I think it'll be a good place to use them again.
It was cool as heck .
After the race the pit crew guy's actually walk out the same as everybody else.
They were trading hats and shirts for beer.
I got me a Kyle Busch hat for a coor's light.
I think it's kinda cool I don't think I'll wear it though.
Might give it away at work.
