They will screw it up .
Only two years from start of design to production dosn't leave time for testing considering you also need time to tool up the lines to produce it.
I would put my money on it being junk.
Also Ford never has had an inhouse Diesel program to get engineers from.

Never count them out. Look at Chrsler before Iacocca took over in the 80's.

Ford also has interests in Volvo and some other European companies that have plenty of diesel experience in light medium and heavy duty versions. Itis a short schedule though, still they may have been cooking this thing since '03 or '04 when it became apparent that the 6.0 was going to be such a nightmare. Time will tell.
