Just got my 15 2500 brand new in October. Have around 5200 miles on it but have already used two boxes of Peak DEF (5 gallons total). Any ideas why it's using so much compared to what others are saying their consumption is? I have the 6 speed manual. Normal driving, normal shift patterns, no towing as of yet. Any thoughts?

Odds are even if your gauge was showing full when new, you probably had no more than 3 to 3.5 gallons in the tank. Assuming so, your DEF usage would be pretty close to average...

Normal or is something else going on?
Thanks, Bob
BTW As a first time RAM owner,I have really enjoyed learning so much about my truck and how to care for it.
So , I'm just at 3200 miles in my new 3500 and just now getting into red zone for refil.
