Front plate is killing me!
Hey everyone,
I live in a state where they'll take away your birthday if you don't have a front license plate on. It just ruins the look......It's a bad *** front end and to have to screw it up with a plate is killing me. Question...Has anyone seen a front bracket for the SRT-10 that looks like it should be there???
Thanks for the help.

Nothing looks like it should be there.
Mount it behind the black mesh in the bumper or behind the grill.
We have the law here to, I just choose to beak it on 3 of my 4 vehicles.

In Miami FL. we don't have plate in the front. Can you put it in back
of the grill? Between the grill and the plastic piece behind the grill, attach it to the plastic.

I don't know what state you live in, but I am in IL and the law states that the front plate must be visible from the front of the vehicle. Cover the back of the plate in felt and put it up in the front windsheild on the dash, where the city sticker would be. Technically that is displayed.
It is worth a try as to not mess up the look of a front plate.

Like 94rt10ohio I live in the Buckeye State where front plates are required, but have never mounted them on vehicles where they look like c..p.
I got one ticket years ago for not havinga plateon the front of my Corvette. The cop wrote me a parking ticket at the time and iced the cake with the other violation. I think (but please don't hold me to this) this may be like a seat belt violation -cops probably won't pull you over for itbut if you get nailed for something else, they maycite you for the other offense.
Since that one timeI have had no issues. My Ram SRT-10 is my daily driver and I keep my front plate andbracket behind the passenger seat. I figure if I am ever asked about it I will say I was working on the front end and haven't had time to put it back on yet. At least it is in the vehicle. This probably won't work unless the officer busting me has a sense of humor, but I will give it a shot.
Bixby76's idea is a possibility. If you have a buddy who's a cop and can give you one, an FOP card or sticker mightalso save you some money.
