GOD...I love this truck...what a machine!
I sold my '05 QC 4x4 RAM HEMI, which was a great truck, but there is NO comparison.
Power, comfort, braking, handling on this truck are far, far superior
Absolute pleasure to drive.
I had an 80s vintage Vette and this truck would kick its butt.
I'm in the break-in period now and its driving me crazy...to not be able to put the pedal down and hold it!

I'm trying to read all the postings here about performance improvements.
As our moderator said, sounds like a subject of great debate/discussion.
I would like to know more about the DC Performance PCM flash or where to find more info on what it does.
Sounds like the K&N drop-in filter (at least) sounds practical.

This truck sits lower than my 05 w/ 20" wheels and I can get in w/o much trouble
Does anybody have any experience with the power retractable running boards?

I checked out their site....impressive claims.
R they reselling the DC package or do they have their own?
I also think the truck runs a bit on the hot side but got to believe the SRT people want it that way? During breakin, I can smell it if I run it even a little bit.

Congrats man,
I put the dc flash in my 05 Yellow fever QC. I am very happy. The difference was noticable. I've had performance chips before that didn't really do much for me, at least not that I could feel. This is money well spent, but I must say that i was very sceptical at first....Be sure to tell them if you plan on modifying your exhaust, they'll set it up for you based on what ever you tell them.

I can honestly say that after only 450 miles now, this is the most enjoyable vehicle I've ever owned...Went WOT down low today and chirped 2nd...been taking it easy....but that was a nice feeling!
I love everything about this truck, even the handling is superb for a truck!
Only complaint is the stalling problem but I'm sure it will get resolved.
I really like the Yellow Fever...on the NightRunner I have they disappointed me on the dressings.
U got all that custom embroidery, etc and I got cheap factory floor mats and some shiny black plastic.

Dropped in a K&N drop-in today and went for a cruise.
I reset the gas mileage thing and I noticed about a 1 mpg increase.
May have been the route but I'll keep an eye on it.

I talked to Dan at DC initially and then B&G.
Dan suddenly went quiet, must be busy.
Both of them said that on my QC, the PCM flash will make a big difference.....can't WAIT!
B&G told me to send them a new controller, give them specifics and they'll flash it.
Went to Dodge today (for stalling problem) and bought a new controlller...OUCH...$475
They said there were only 2 in the Southeast area
Don't have any plans for the intake other than the drop-in K&N, really based on content on this forum.
Exhaust...was thinking Belanger headers and Magnaflow exhaust.
Apparently Magnaflow has a new cat-back in the works.
Only problem is my local shop is recommending Gibson or JBA headers....comments anyone?
No plans to supercharge or anything like that...this truck is so much fun as it is and I ain't gonna race it.
And as it break-ins, it just gets stronger everyday....mechanic said give it 3k miles to break-in completely.
the SRT team did an incredible job...I just want to drive this thing every day, every where.
I wish had two of them....Enjoy!!
