im new to the srt10, i just recently had a srt4 but finally upgraded, so i have a ? about the tanny that ive heard. first off has any one heard of at about 11000 miles the tranny coming apart from the truck, this guy at a dealership told me that, second do these trannys have alot of problems

 

I have an 04 rc with 17,000 miles andhavent hadany problems with the 6 speed manual or heard of people having problems. Are you talking about a reg or quad cab auto?

 

The only tranny issues I know of are the clutch systems tend to be a little weak for the application.
