I have one just like you do. The idle sound is not so great but going down the road it sounds great. Some people have put catback ehaust and love the sound. I don't know how many horsepower gain you'd get, but I'm leaving mine as is. It's always moving not idling so I'm not worried, and it doesn't seem to have a rough idle. I have noticed a little shudder through the steering wheel at 55, but that last all of two seconds. There's no way I'm driving this truck at 55. I am coming up on a week with mine. I love it. The temperatures you mention seem to be right in line with mine here in SW Florida. This is by far the greatest vehicle I've ever owned. I wonder what kind of radar detectors people are using and what are the results. I'm sure this truck is a ticket magnet. Good luck with your truck. My oil psi seems to be just shy of the 75 range. What's yours? We can compare notes as the trucks age.

I've got the rough idle too. (I like it . Sounds like a big cam.) Temp is a little over 200 degrees. Everything is OK
