Default Air Intake

Has anyone used Volant Air Intake on their SRT-10 or any other car ? If so how do you like it and are there any noticable gains in performance or mileage ? Is it worth to buy it , if yes please suggest a good place to buy it ....!!!

i recently installed one on my 06 ram srt10 and a couple of things i did not like about the system, first ,the filter when installed on the tube inside the box is not completely sealed , in short, the filter box has a hole in the side and you stick the tube through the hole and attach the air filter, the hole is too big , the tube is like 4in and the hole is 6in, not sealed. second ,the filter attaches to the tube by clamps, when tighting it slips off, the tube norrows towards the end and the filter opening is rubber where you need to clamp, making it slipperly. i had to use two clamps to install, knowing this i worry about it when driving, having it slip off. as for horsepower and mileage, i have not had it dynoed or check gas comsumption, when i get in the truck that is the last thing on my mind, miles per gallon. in closing, the system could have beenbetter built for the money i spent, would i buy a another one in the future, no. if not improved.

Hey badassndn01, why don't you just take a piece of rubber hose and slit it down the side and then invert and 3M auto glue it between the heat shield hole and the intake tubingsort of like the rubber door edging bunper strip.
