Default Supercharger install post

I will update my progress here. I will not be making a DIY on this install. Roe gives you very good directions!! My parts (I hope) will show up next week when I am in CA. This will allow me to begin installing next weekend!!

After a couple hours. Still have to pull the Tstat, plugs, ignition wires and I also plan to remove the extra battery trey on the passenger side, for now I am using it to hold things

Sounds like a pain in the ***. I have heard that supercharger installs are pretty straight forward with decent instructions though. Are you tuning the motor your self or do you have to take it somewhere?

Others with similar mods get around 620-640 at the wheels (stock SRTs usually get around 410-420). This would equate to upper 700s at the crank.

The next step would be forged internals, ported headsand more boost. I am not going there. This will be the end of the line with the exception of traction bars. Truck will be up for sale at the end of 2008/begining of 2009. It will be time fora different project.
