The Dealer in Cordele Ga, has a new 04 srt10 regular cab on the show room floor . The truck has 10 to 20 miles on it and has never been sold. The Truck comes with full factory warrenty and list for 47500 . Dealer say make him an offer . The best that i have seen in the books is 38000 for a used but this is new. What is it worth?

 

I wouldn't offer him too much. Cars that have been sitting for a while can develop numerous problems. Cracked seals, gaskets, springs goin bad, tires getting bad spots on em. etc.

 

I would say to him change that price to 40k and I'll sign the papers right now. If a car dealer has a vechicle on the lot for more then 3months they have to start paying the bank for it and thats when they will offer 1k or 2k rebate on it even if its an 08 as of right now.

 

If sticker was 47K offer them 32K but pay up to 35K. A CLEAN low mile (under 10K)04 can be had for 25-30K dependiong on how motivated the seller is.

 

That sounds about right to me.

 

I bought mine 29,500 with 9,000 miles. Did the '04 come with a bedcover? Mine did'nt. Mine was on the lot for 6 months, luckily all the buyer's were in their early twenties and either couldn't get insurance or it was to much.

I also gave 29.5 last May for a 9K truck, although I bought it from Bobby Hamilton.

04s did not have a cover option.

 

Bought my 04 in April 05 for 40. If the dealer has had it that long, you should do better. Offer him 35 or 36 at the max. I bet he takes it.
