Very old news. 2006 was the last year. 2004-2006.

 

too bad, would have been nice to see one with the motor from '08 srt10

 

I heard from the dealership that theyare just taking a year off, then the srt 10

All rumor. If it was just a year it would be on the lots right now. It is the 08 model year

 

All i can tell you is what the guy at the dealership said to me, and i would hope
that he would know. We will all see in 09.

 

What dodge should do is put the 600HP viper motor into an 09 SRT-10 and only make like 1000 of them. Sure it would probably cost atleast 65k but it would be the most notorious truck ever built while running mid-low 12's with slicks and with a topspeed around 175mph.

 

I will lay big money on no SRT in 2009. The Ram will be a new model that year, if they do a SRT it will be a year or two after the new model.

With that said I do not think Dodge will make a SRT Ram unless another automaker like Ford, Toyota, Chevy, whoever, makes a "muscle" truck. It is not just luck that Dodge discontinued the SRT Ram after the Lightning and Joe Gibbs Silverado were discontinued. As for the Chevy SS, that is not in the same leauge as the before mentioned trucks.
