I AM THINKING OF TRADING MY HEMI TRUCK FOR A 2005 SRT-10 TRUCK THAT HAS A TRAILER HITCH ON IT.
WHAT IS THE TOWING CAPACITY FOR THESE TRUCKS?

 

RC or QC

 

THE SRT-10 TRUCK IS A QUADCAB.
I'M NOT A TEXT MESSAGER SO I DID NOT GET RC QC RETURN MESSAGE.
THE DODGE.COM TOWING GUIDE SAYS IT WILL TOW AROUND 8600 POUNDS.

 

You can do towing with the QC. But not the RC.

 

I also am trading in my truck for 06 SRT-10 Stuck between the RC and QC but i do want to tow my fourwheelers around and maybe a boat in the near future but nothing extreme maybe two fourwheeler at once???

 

I have a '05 QC and I can pull about anything that I can hook to the rear! However all I need to pull is my car carrier trailer and my corvette which weights about 6200# total rolling or I may use the same trailer to pull my tractor which weights about 7000-7500# rolling,VERY WELL. If I hook up the electric breake on the trailer it would stop way better with the tractor hooked onto the truck!.

 

The SRT-10 owner's manual said. Do not tow a trailer with the SRT-10 RC.
And also just 400 pounds in the bed of the truck.
