After I got my srt-10 I soon realized the sub was not working. i removed the cover while the stereo was running. Simply touched the woofer cone and it ran fine. when i remove my hand from the cone it ceases to function. I am having a hard time to understand what is going on here or just what i need to do to make it run full time. I need anwsers. Thanks.

sounds likea bad voice coil, not the best sub I've seen, i replaced mine with after market......going to replace the rest of the speakers as well
