Default Super Chargers

Anyone know the difference between the Paxton NOVI 2000 and the Roe Racing SRT-10 Supercharger Kit? Is there a difference in torque, horsepower? Or is it just the preference as to the top mounted or side mounted styles? With the Roe Racing does anyone know if it comes in chrome?

Thanks.

HP will be within a few of each other. You can not go over 6 PSI on stock internals or your motor will go boom. Actually it would be best to even go to forged for 6 PSI as it is a little bit of a risk based on others experience.

Roe just recently came out with a new unit that is offered in polished. Same performance specs, just the body of the SC looks slightly different.

The Roe peaks at lower RPMs vs the Paxton. Some like this, some do not. Just depends where you want to make your power.

The Paxton is easier to install, but you will need someone to program the PCM.

The Roe will come with the new SCT tuner (in lieu of VEC). Roe will tell you how to program.

The Roe looks cooler, a SC belongs on top of the engine

I like the way your SC looks, i just like the polished look. By the home work i did on this, the Roe looks easier then the pexton, but you have one so i will take your word on it.
I have to look for someone to install it for me, when i get one. Looking at the end of the year. Do you know were i can see some pics of the polished one? Thanks

I have not seen one yet. I would E-mail Roe. Roeracing.com. If you are having it installed I would just take your truck to them.

I called ROE Racing, they told me that they do have the polished one but haven't updated the website yet. I'm going to call them back to see where they are located. I wanted to know how is your system cooled? I know the Paxton is oil cooled, just was wondering if yours was also.
