Replaced sub
Ever since I bought my 09 my SRT sound system seemed lame, well upon further investigation my sub had stopped working! To my amazement it was not the amp, it was the sub itself.
I replace it with this

Never sounded this good. Even though the specs are about the same this thing outperforms the stock sub. Of course you can spend many hundreds more and get better sound, but for the cost it was worth it!
I did have to cut a little of the box. The sub would not fit without trimming about 1/8" out of the 10" hole.

Can you supply any more detail on the install of the sub? Did you add any material into the sub box? what tool did you use to cut the box? when you took off the 1/8" would it have still been possible to re-install the OEM sub into the box? Did the OEM connectors work or did you have to cut the wires ( I would guess the wires were cut as it looks like the MB has push style connectors).
Thanks,
David
