i am just trying to think how i would have dealt with that issue would it have come up to me while i was a tech.....but high RPM would show you whether it is an engine issue...or something in the suspension.

I think what your seeing is wheel hop. I've noticed that the Pirelli tires flat spot. And are very sensitive to tire pressure. The tires are rated at 50psi. At 50psi the ride is bumpy and rough. At 30 psi the ride is great and no wheel shake. Try using 40 PSI. Balancing will help. But its the tires!!!! The next set will be 305x45x22. The very low profile305x40x22 also causes the rough ride.

Hea there, I have an '05 SRT-10 Quad cab in silver, that did the same thing since it was new 3 months ago. Vibration felt inside the cab at around 72 to 77 MPH.Went round and round with the dealership till they "Load Balenced" all the tires, this must be something new, at least up in this neck of the woods. While doing this they found two of the tires would not balence out. They ordered and installed two new tires under warenty, "Load Balenced" them and now the problem is gone. My dealership is Foster Motors in Middlebury VT 1-802-388-9961. It werked for me.

Mine had the shakes at 70-75. After 3 trys at balancing, Discount Tire replaced the P-wiglers with Goodyear Fortera's and it rides like a cloud now.

LilSparkPlug- Did you get this resolved? I have a 05 QC with the same problem. Dealer road force balanced and changed 2 tires but it's still shaking. This has been from day one to 3000 miles now. They are sending me to a Tire Dealer to meet with Pirelli Rep. I am not expecting much help from them. I wish someone would just change the tier brand for me as I also heard that cures the problem.

The story gets better. I get sent to Tier Kingdom in FL by Pirelli only to be told they don't have equipment capable of breaking down a 22" tire. I called the Dealer back and I am ready to lemon law this thing. Let me know if anyone else solved their shake problem.
